How to add your Sites and Content to the Honeyhitz VS-Dir FFA Topic Pages:
FFA listings are called Entries. Entries are listed on FFA pages called Topics or Catagories. Honeyhitz provides free FFA entries, paid entries, and FFA Ad spots on a variety of FFA topic pages. The VS-Dir FFA service is open to Members Only.
Path to adding an FFA Entry:
Log into your account at Honeyhitz traffic exchange. Look at the Top Menu. Go to Networks, then Site Lists. Site Lists is the main index page that displays all the Topics available in the FFA. Go to the Topic you would like to post an Entry to. Click on the hyper link to add your Entry. This will bring up a form. Fill in the form and click the Submit this site icon.
Title:
This is the title of your website, service, etc. The text should fit in the space allowed in the form box.
Link:
Place the link to your website in this form box.
Description:
Character length for the description is 1,000 characters, so you have room to add relevant content for your entry. It is recommended you use keywords when describing your website or service.
Member ID:
You will note that as you are logged into your account, the script has automatically inserted your Member ID in this field.
Keywords:
You can add a list of relevant keywords in this section. Example: free traffic, traffic exchange, autosurf traffic exchange, manual traffic exchange
Seperate each keyword with a comma (,).
Link Back:
Add a Link Back to any website you manage or have control over. The Link Back does NOT have to be the same link you are entering. In the case of an affiliate link, a link back on that specific site would be impossible. A Link Back can be on any website, webpage, forum, or blog that you own. You will place a link to that specific venue somewhere on a webpage you manage. You can place a link to the directory service - or even your own affiliate link on a website or blog.
Restrictions:
It is crucial that you know what the restrictions are here at Honeyhitz traffic exchange. Some restrictions are mentioned on various topic pages. Review this PAGE, or our TOS for full information. Submitting entries that are not acceptable can lead to your site being banned within the system. And, since all VS-Dir venues network together, violations can be reported to the Realm-12 Network, which could result in your venue being banned at entire Network.
Duration:
Currently, FFA Entries are restricted to 1,000 per page.
Submitting your link and content
Once you have filled out the form, click on the Save icon. You will get an email that you have successfully posted an FFA entry. Your entry will be seen by the Webmaster of the VS-Dir who will then test the site and check for a Link Back. Your entry will then be approved or rejected, and you will receive an email regarding the decision. When the entry expires, you will receive an email advising you that it has so you can repost.
Sort:
Sorting on an FFA Topic at the Honeyhitz traffic exchange FFA is by Most Recent Post. Ads have different sort criteria and have durations that are independent from regular FFA Entries.
Last Two Entries (Paid Entry/Ad):
You will note that below the form boxes listed above you will see two additional form boxes. These are for Paid Entries or FFA Ads. One box is for your Member ID at the VS-Dir venue you purchased a Paid Entry or Ad. The other box is for the Code you purchased that allows you to post a Paid Entry or FFA Ad.
Paid Entries:
Paid Entries are just that. Some FFA Topic Pages will only accept Paid Entries. Most Paid Entries will require you join the service offering the VS-Dir and then purchase a Code. Once you have the Code, and are posting to a Paid Entry only Topic page, you will need to place your member id in one form box, your Code in the other form box in order for you entry to be accepted.
FFA Ads:
Ads have a different sort criteria from regular FFA entries as well as a seperate duration. They do not roll off the page like other FFA entries. They expire based on the length of the Ad purchased. Ads are inserted among the FFA Entries - usually on a random basis - and do not affect the Entry count. This means you will see up to 1,000 FFA entries, as well as any number of Ads on the same page.
Paid Entries and Ads can be purchased in the Credit Shop.
